Registration fees

To make participation affordable for individuals from all regions worldwide, registration fees are based on the income groups assigned to the world's economies by the World Bank. The fees are determined by the country that you are employed in.

The table outlines the early bird, regular and onsite registration fees in Swedish krona (SEK), excluding 25% Swedish value added tax.

More information about each registration category needed and what is included?

Full congress registration is available for ISPO member, non-member and student.

A full congress registration includes:

  • Access to all sessions: keynote lectures, symposia, instructional courses, technical track presentations, free paper sessions and exhibitor workshops
  • Access to the Opening Ceremony (held on Monday, 16 June 2025) and the Closing
  • Ceremony (held on Thursday, 19 June 2025)
  • Access to the exhibition hall and posters area during opening hours
  • Upon pre-registration: participation in the Welcome Reception (held on Monday, 16 June 2025 in the exhibition hall)
  • Upon pre-registration: participation in the City Hall Reception (held on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 at the City Hall of Stockholm)
  • Official congress badge and bag with congress programme materials

Member rates are available to those who are members of ISPO.

Student rates are available to students enrolled full-time at an educational institution.

Proof, consisting of a copy of your identification (ID) card or a letter from the institution’s registrar confirming your student status is required during online registration. You must be enrolled as a student at the time of registration, and the dates of your enrolment at your university or college are to be mentioned on the document to be eligible as a student.

One day congress rates are available to members and non-members who would like to participate for one day only.

Congress day tickets include the above on the selected day only. Participation in the City Hall Reception is only available to full congress registrants.

Accompanying person rates are available to those who accompany a full congress registrant – no admission to the scientific sessions.

Full congress registrants will be able to register accompanying persons once they have completed their own registration. A link to register accompanying persons can be found in the confirmation email after successful registration.

Registered accompanying persons have:

  • Access to the Opening Ceremony (held on Monday, 16 June 2025) and the Closing Ceremony (held on Thursday, 19 June 2025)
  • Upon pre-registration: participation in the Welcome Reception (held on Monday, 16 June 2025 in the exhibition hall)
  • Access to the exhibition hall and posters area during opening hours
  • Accompanying persons are NOT admitted to the scientific and technical track sessions and the City Hall Reception (held on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 at the City Hall of Stockholm)

An exhibition day ticket is valid on the selected day only.

Holders of this ticket category have:

  • Access to the exhibition hall and poster area during opening hours
  • Access to exhibitor workshops
  • Monday day ticket includes: access to the Opening Ceremony
  • Thursday day ticket includes: access to the Closing Ceremony
  • Exhibition day ticket holders are NOT admitted to the scientific and technical track sessions, the Welcome Reception (held on Monday, 16 June 2025 in the exhibition hall) and the City Hall Reception (held on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 at the City Hall of Stockholm)

Grants to support attendance at the World Congress

ISPO recognises that some participants may need financial assistance related to their attendance at the upcoming World Congress in Stockholm, Sweden. Therefore, ISPO excited to announce the opening of participation grants for the I.S.P.O. 20th World Congress 2025! These grants provide financial assistance to professionals from low and middle-income countries to support their attendance at this global event.

Eligibility criteria:

How to apply: Complete the online application by January 10, 2025, and include:

  • Up to 500-word statement outlining your needs and goals for attending the Congress
  • Brief CV
  • Copy of your passport or ID card
  • Proof of academic or professional status (if applicable)

Key dates:

  • Application deadline: 10 January 2025
  • Selection notification: 6 February 2025

Applications will be scored on the following scoring:

  • Accepted abstract/s for the World Congress (does not include successful symposia / Instructional course proposals): 2 points for each accepted abstract
  • ISPO membership: 1 point if a member for one year, 2 points if a member for 2 years, 3 points if a member for 3 or more years
  • ISPO faculty / graduate: 1 point if graduate, associated lecturer, etc. of an ISPO accredited training programme
  • Past travel grants: 1 point for a travel grant received to attend a past ISPO World Congress
  • Other factors (to be accorded by the ISPO Selection Committee): 1 point

Notification and grant implementation:

ISPO has limited resources and will only be able to support a limited number of candidates. All successful candidates that have been selected to receive support will receive an official notification from the ISPO Head Office on 6 February 2025.

Successful candidates will receive:

  • Free registration to I.S.P.O. 20th World Congress
  • Participation grant of 1,000 EUR
