4:45 PM - 6:00 PM Wed 18. Jun

Description

This course invites P&O clinicians and educators worldwide to explore the transformative synergy of artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) in clinical practice and education. Designed to empower clinicians and educators alike, this course provides practical tools for integrating AI and LLMs and AI into clinical workflows and teaching methodologies, enhancing patient care, educator productivity, and student learning.

Presenters will address ethical considerations related to the use of AI and LLMs and make practical applications to clinical and education settings, with special attention to less resourced settings. The session will include a brief overview of AI and LLMs, followed by live demonstrations and active participation, showcasing how these technologies can be used in both clinical and educational settings. Examples of incorporating AI in formulation, documentation, professional communication, and patient education will be included, and insights offered into how these innovations can improve practice and learning.

Join us in shaping the future of orthotics and prosthetics by embracing AI-driven advancements, preparing clinicians, educators, and students to excel in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
